Whole Pig: Deposit Only (available April 2027)
This will produce about 200 pounds of finished pork. The cost is $4.50/pound on the hanging weight and is determined by the processor. Final costs will be charged at the time of processing.
Customers are responsible for their own butchering costs and pickup from This Old Farm. Pickup is Tuesday - Friday and any cured meat will need to be picked up at a separate visit unless you make storage arrangements with This Old Farm privately. Customers are responsible to fill out a pork cut form online.
We use This Old Farm for two main reasons:
- They track your pork from drop off to pick up.
- They use a chemical free curing process that uses natural celery salt which allows meat to cure free of synthetic nitrites and nitrates.
$300 down payment secures your order. Final price is determined by hanging weight and orders will be invoiced at the time of processing. This is a deposit only and will be used towards your final pork price (not including butchering.
Pasture raised with supplemental feed free of added hormones, antibiotics and soy.
Customers are responsible to pick up their pigs within 7 days of notification. Cured Meat will take an additional 2 weeks and will need to picked up separately within 7 days of notification. We understand that it can be inconvenient to make two trips. This Old Farm will hold your uncured pork for more than 7 days with This Old Farm for an additional cost. The customer must handle all communication with This Old Farm to hold their meat.
